EU27 total admissions 2008 (1 single year) = 924.2 millions

EU25 total admissions 1999-2004 (6 years survey!) = 5430 millions
EU25 total films distributed 1999-2004 = 9892 films

Thisis perhaps the best in the series so far. So much data to be interpreted.

One doubt - Does the numbers for USA constitute largely of Hollywood or is there a sizeable chunk for Independent American films too?

Hmm, now that you put it that way, it looks like most of the cinema in EU is industry driven (at least over 80% I assume). Sad indeed.
